OUR ELEPHANTS

A sanctuary for senior elephants

The Little Rock Zoo specializes in caring for geriatric female elephants. Zina, born in 1960, retired from the circus and arrived in 2011. Babe, born in 1975, came in 2013. Their keepers tailor every day to the needs of elephants 45 and older.
